10K Kickoff Event (10th November)
The DPT November, 2016 got under way at 9:30 PM on 9th November with 5K Warm Up Online at Adda52.com that had Rs. 5,00,000 in the guaranteed prize pool with a buy-in of Rs. 5,000. “DoJingBULLETS” emerged as winner in that event to win Rs. 2 Lacs. The live action of the DPT November began on 10th November at 7PM with 10K Kickoff that saw a healthy turnout of 158 players, creating a total prize pool of Rs. 1580000. It was Vidwath Shetty who took down the event for Rs. 4.3 lac, after defeating a tough field of 158 players and of course Keshav Chadha in the heads-up match. Keshav once again missed out on winning the title with his second place finish for Rs.2,70,000 lac. The final hand of the tournament saw both players go all-in pre-flop.The board ran Kh-4c-Ac-5d-8s, giving Vidwath a pair of Kings to eliminate Keshav holding Qc-10c in the second place and finally win the 10K Kickoff title.
DPT 60K High Roller (11th-12th November)
Later on 11th-12th November, DPT brought the 2-day 60K Higher Roller event, the biggest tournament of the series that was played across 2 days and drew a total of 92 entries, creating a prize pool of Rs. 5520000. Finally, Gagandeep Malik, who qualified from a setallite at Adda52.com claimed the title for Rs. 17,66,000. In heads up match, the last hand saw Vivek Rughani go all-in with Qd-Jh, which Gagandeep called with Kh-Kd. On the board 4c-10d-5c-Jd-9c, Vivek’s pair of Jacks were beaten by Gagandeep’s pocket kings. So, Vivek Rughani eventually finished as runner-up in the DPT 60K High Roller for Rs.10,76,000.
30K Main Event (12th-13th November)
The 30K Main Event, which kicked off at 7 PM on Saturday 12th November, attracted 161 entries, which created a total prize pool of Rs. 4830000. In the end, there were 3 contenders left to play it down to the 30K Main Event title,namely Kanishka Samant, Gautam Sachdeva and Nitin Jain. Eventually it was Gautam Sachdeva who shipped the 30K Main Event to win the top prize of Rs.1304000, after defeating Mumbai-based pro Kanishka Samant in heads-up. Kanishka earned Rs. 821000 for his runner up finish. However, Gautam’s victory was not easy, as he had to battle it out with tough players and defeat a field of 161 players.
10K+5K Bounty Event (13th November)
The second last event 10K+5K Bounty began at 7PM on Sunday, 13th November. It drew a total of 160 entries, taking the prize pool upto 2400000. After beating a tough field of 160 players, it was eventually Masood Shaikh who took down the tournament for Rs. 4,32,000.
The heads up match between Masood and Aditya.G did not last long. After a short while, Aditya moved all-in with his Ah-Jc and Masood from the big blind snap-called with his 4s-10s. On the board reading 8s-As-Ks-9s-Jh, Masood got flush to win the title. On the other hand, Aditya missed out on the title and finished as the runner up, taking home Rs. 272,000.
15K 6- Max PLO (14th November)
The third edition of DPT concluded with 15K 6- Max PLO, which was included in DPT after seeing the rising popularity of the Omaha game in the country. Began on 14th November 2016, this event attracted a77 entries, creating a prize pool of Rs. 1155000. Finally after a 3-way deal, it was Adda52 Pro Kunal Patni who claimed the title to win Rs. 252,300, while the rest of the two players Siddharth Mehndiratta and Vikram Kumar won Rs. 252,300 and Rs. 252,300 respectively along with 6 other players who are paid the following amounts:
